In the sane world however, it's used as remembrance for the dead. Hardly surprising that you'd rather concern yourself with it's drug use though.

well, to continue my post and maybe clear up some confusion I'll say that the poppy and other drug producing flowers certainly are pretty, but it is sad that their trade often produces pain

yeah that's true. I didn't mean to blame the flowers for their chemicals, they can't help it. was just worried that paul might support the trade of poppies which is a silly thing to assume i suppose

MARIGOLDS. those are gorgeous, i'll add that to my list. thanks for bringing that up to because ive been working on an ink painting and have been inventing flowers because i cant think of any xD so the marigold will be a perfect addition. sunflowers are so dorable, 'specially when used in family portraits

china was the first to develop opium from poppy. england followed shorty after and they were the ones who sparked the opium trade.
