Water fluoridation is exercised in many countries. Water fluoridation; meaning the government adding flouride to your drinking water to decrease teeth cavitys and other defects in the body for the countries population. However, other health defects as a result of fluoridation have been proven to occur. Discuss.

i think it's pretty cool the way water can be taken advantage of like that.

What are some of these health effects?
07-24-201007:03 AM
I thought that is what we used toothpaste for
so we all have to have this put in our water, just because of the lazy faggots that don't ever brush
07-24-201007:05 AM
Urnamz brushes.

I drink bottled water, but that wastes a shitload of plastic. God, we can't ever have our cake and eat it.

there does not seem to be many drawbacks associated with it. the main one (as far as i know) seems to be dental flourosis, but that's barely a concern to me anyway. i personally don't like the idea of my water being laced with flouride just because the government thinks i don't use enough flouride toothpaste.

i think a lot of the hate associated with water flouridation is just a bunch of kids expressing their hate for their government to look cool

yeah ok

honestly ascaris, my main problem with tap water is the reservoirs they're stored in. the bacteria is cleansed from them via chlorine before that, but surely bacteria has managed to accumulate in the reservoirs after all of these years.
what do you think, my civil engineer?
07-24-201007:51 AM
this has little to nothing to do with the quality of tap water rekhyt
07-24-201007:53 AM
um. flourides don't exactly take away from the quality of tap water. in fact the op referred to long-lasting effects on the human body, not the taste. if bacteria builds up in those reservoirs, we are drinking bacteria that could be beneficial, but it could also be bad for us in the long-run.
are you willing to take those risks?
07-24-201007:56 AM
what are you arguing exactly
07-24-201007:58 AM
that i can debate about anything i want with my vast cultural knowledge
